The FeenCon is a convention on the subjects of pen & paper role-playing games , miniature games , board games and live role-playing games . It usually takes place annually on the first summer holiday weekend in the Bad Godesberg town hall. Since this date often coincided with the culture of the Rhine , care has been taken for several years to ensure that the events take place on different weekends.

organizer

The FeenCon is organized by the role-playing game - association Gilde der Fantasy-Rolleenspieler eV

history

It was organized for the first time under the name PhanCon in 1990 in the Ratingen town hall by the GFR and several German role-playing companies. In 1992 he moved to the Bonn-Bad Godesberg town hall due to space problems. The following year the name was changed to FeenCon, as the GFR became the sole host.

program

In addition to the implementation of those games, the event is marked by a large program to the organizers, many authors of the German Fantasy - Literature Invite and the RPG scene. In addition to various dealers, many publishers and artists also contribute to the supporting program. There is a large raffle and at the end of the event an auction and a dress competition.

Others

The FeenCon has more than 2,500 visitors and takes place non-stop for a whole weekend. This means that it does not close its doors at a certain time in the evening like many other conventions, but can continue to play there all night.
