Field replacement divisions (Wehrmacht)
The field replacement divisions were large units of the army of the German Wehrmacht in World War II , which were formed in August 1941 except for the field replacement division F. All major units had the task of providing troop replacement for the operational units in the war against the Soviet Union . In January 1942 all field replacement divisions were dissolved and z. T. set up again shortly afterwards.

Field replacement divisions A to C each consisted of five field replacement regiments . D and E had four field replacement regiments. The second line-up of field replacement divisions B and F were only subject to three field replacement regiments. All others of the second formation had five field replacement regiments.

Field replacement division B

After the first field replacement division B was dissolved, a second field replacement division B was set up, but this was dissolved again in September 1942.
