Felice Carena (composer)
Felice Carena (born June 12, 1885 in Pescara , † November 11, 1937 in Rome ) was an Italian composer .
He is known for his concert waltz "Secrets of the Adige " (Italian: "I Misteri dell 'Adige"). He composed this in the summer of 1932 in the country inn "Rose" in Innichen in the Puster Valley for a large symphony orchestra. The arrangement for wind orchestra came out in the year of the composer's death and became a standard repertoire for wind orchestras north and south of the Alps.
