Feline Lang

Feline Lang (* 1974 in Bremen ) is a German actress and singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Live and act

Feline Lang is a daughter of the harpist Brigitte Langnickel-Köhler and the pianist Reinhard Langnickel . The coloratura mezzo- soprano studied acting and singing in Berlin at the European Theater Institute in Berlin with Andreas Talarowski and David L. Jones. In the theater she played in the Magic Flute (Bremen, Berlin), Das Haus in Montevideo (Hanover), Kabale und Liebe (Zeitz). In the film she worked with Muxmäuschenstill , Freiheit for my brother and Siebenstein, among others .

She sang the operatic roles: Carmen in the opera of the same name, Angelina in La Cenerentola , Dulcinea in The Man of La Mancha , Princess Eboli in Don Carlos and Hansel in Hansel and Gretel .

As a singer she is u. a. specialized in Tango Argentino . Since 2009 she has been leading the band Feline and Strange , for which she writes and arranges songs herself. As a director and opera singer, she founded the opera ensemble canteatro in 2004 . As a cultural manager, she founded the music network “musik permitted” with Christoph Klemke.
