Felix Haspel (born October 3, 1951 in Vienna) is an Austrian sculptor, painter, graphic artist, light and textile artist.

Live and act

Felix Haspel taught for over 25 years at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Institute for Textile Design in Vienna . He draws many of his ideas for his works from the desert landscapes of North Africa and North India, which he has toured several times since the 1980s.

As a textile artist who often combines soft materials with hard metallic structures such as bronze, he is considered an important artist of his generation.
