Feng Zhiqiang

Feng Zhiqiang ( Chinese  馮志強  /  冯志强 , Pinyin Féng Zhìqiáng ; * 1928 in Shulu - today Xinji , Hebei Province , China ; † May 5, 2012 ) belonged to the 18th generation of the Chen style Taijiquan and was one of the most important martial artists in China . His numerous positions and honorary degrees include a board member of the Chinese Wushu Society, Advisor to the Beijing Wushu Society, Chairman of the Beijing Chen-Style Taijiquan Research Society, and President of the Zhiqiang Wushu Academy.

Grandmaster Feng studied with two important teachers, the legendary Grandmaster Chen Fake , main representative of the 17th generation of the Chen style Taijiquan , and the famous doctor and Qigong master Hu Yaozhen . On the basis of his in-depth knowledge of Qigong, Feng developed Taijiquan further into his own, strongly health-oriented style with the full name of the Xinyi Hunyuan Chen style .
