Ferdinand Kiefler
Ferdinand Kiefler (born August 4, 1913 in Vienna , † January 13, 1945 in Liblar near Cologne) was an Austrian handball player.
Life
Kiefler was a member of the Austrian team at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. With his team, he won the silver medal in field handball , after having previously won against Romania, Switzerland and Hungary. Austria defeated Germany 10: 6 in the final. Kiefler died in 1945 fighting in Erftstadt-Liblar near Cologne.
