Ferdinand Laurberg (* February 24 . Jul / 8. March  1904 greg. In Vihterpalu , Harju County , Governorate of Estonia ; † 9. October 1941 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) was an Estonian football goalkeeper and Bandyspieler .

Career

Ferdinand Laurberg was born in 1904 in the village of Vihterpalu on the north coast of Estonia in Harju County .

In his football career he played exclusively for the Estonian capital club SK Tallinna Sport . With the most successful club of the 1920s and 1930s, he won the Estonian football championship in 1929.

On September 25, 1927 in Riga Laurberg played his first and only international match for Estonia against the Latvian national team (4-1 for Latvia) .

In addition, Laurberg was one of the most famous bandy players of his time. He played six times in the Estonian national bandy team. He and his team became Estonian bandy champions six times: in 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932 and 1935.
