Remarks

  1. The available literature and numerous websites name 1885–1915 as Lugerth's life data. However, on May 30, 1919 , the Österreichische Forst-Zeitung reported on the death of Oskar Simonys on April 6, 1915, in whose honor a grave monument made by Ferdinand Lugerth was erected on the Gersthofer cemetery. In addition, on October 21, 1929 , the Reichspost reported the unveiling of a monument created by Ferdinand Lugerth on October 24, 1929 in honor of the Bosnian-Hercegovinian Infantry Regiment No. 1 in the Vienna Army Museum. In both cases it is not mentioned when the artworks were designed or made by Lugerth. The Catalogs of Sales , Volume 244, Sotheby Parke Bernet, Los Angeles 1979 on p. 550 locates Lugerth's active period between 1885 and 1910.
