Ferdinand Wessels

Ferdinand Wessels (born November 28, 1899 in Burgsteinfurt ; † September 26, 1950 there ) was a German social democratic politician.

Wessels worked in a brick factory between 1927 and 1935 and was then a tobacco worker. He was a member of the SPD before 1933. During the Second World War Wessels was a soldier.

After the war he rejoined the SPD. In 1946 he was a member of the Provincial Council of Westphalia and in 1946 and 1947 a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia .
