Ferdinando Tacconi

Ferdinando Tacconi (born December 27, 1922 in Milan ; † May 11, 2006 ) was an Italian cartoonist .

Ferdinando Tacconi worked as an illustrator for Italian magazines after the Second World War. In 1949 his first adventure comic series Sciuscià appeared , followed by Nat del Santa Cruz (Eng. Hein the ship's boy ). For the next few years he drew the space stories Jet Morgan and Jeff Hawke for British publishers. 1973 appeared with Gli Aristocratici (German Gentlemen GmbH , text: Alfredo Castelli ) his most famous comic series about a British gang of thieves, which he drew until 1982.

In later years he drew individual episodes of Dylan Dog and Nick Raider . In 2001 he was awarded the Yellow Kid for his life's work.
