Ferenc Gerő

Ferenc Gerő (born August 14, 1900 in Budapest ; † June 23, 1974 ibid.) Was a Hungarian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was fourth in the 4-by-100-meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and 200 m respectively.

In 1928 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Amsterdam over 100 m in the quarter-finals and over 200 m as well as in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run.

He was five times Hungarian champion over 100 m (1921-1924, 1928) and four times over 200 m (1922-1924, 1928).
