Fernando Ribeiro
Fernando Ribeiro (born August 26, 1974 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese musician and singer and founding member of the metal band Moonspell .
biography
Ribeiro founded the band Morbid God in 1989, from which Moonspell later emerged. He studied in Lisbon philosophy on teaching but not graduated, and devoted himself completely from the mid-1990s career as a musician. In addition to Moonspell, he ran the black metal project Daemonarch in the late 1990s , with which he released an album on Century Media in 1998. At Moonspell he is responsible for the lyrics. Together with his partner Sónia Tavares ( The Gift ), he has been involved in the Hoje music project , which is dedicated to the reinterpretation of Fado songs, since the late 2000s . He has also published three volumes of poetry in Portuguese so far . His son was born in the spring of 2012.
