Fernando Sellanes , full name Fernando Damián Sellanes Lens , (born April 24, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.63-meter-tall midfielder or offensive player Sellanes was at the beginning of his career from the Apertura 2009 to the beginning of September 2012 in the ranks of the Uruguayan first division club Centro Atlético Fénix . There he played at least 29 games (2009/10: 5 games / no goal, 2010/11: 16/2; 2011/12: 8/0) in the Primera División and scored two goals. He also played an encounter (no goal) in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana . He then moved to the Argentine club Agropecuario , for which he ran twice (no goal) in the Copa Argentina . In January 2014 he left the Argentinians and continued his career with the Uruguayan second division Canadian Soccer Club . The Montevideans have ten league appearances (no goal) in the Segunda División for the 2013/14 season until his last appearance on May 24, 2014 against Rocha FC . In May 2015 he was listed as a clubless player by the Uruguayan professional football players' union MUFP . In August 2015, he then joined the second division Huracán Football Club . In the 2015/16 season he played 18 second division appearances (one goal). He returned to Fénix in early August 2016.
