Fernando Varela Ramos (born September 1, 1979 in Dos Hermanas , Spain ) is a Spanish football player who plays for Real Valladolid in the Spanish Segunda División .

Career

Fernando Varela was born near Seville and was born in Betis Sevilla . Apart from the second half of the 1999/2000 season when Fernando Varela was loaned to CF Extremadura , he played from 1996 to 2006 for ten years for the second and from 2000 the first team of the Andalusians. His biggest success in his time at Betis was winning the Copa del Rey in 2005 when CA Osasuna was defeated in the final.

In the summer of 2006, however, he said goodbye to play for RCD Mallorca , where he had a difficult start after a few mistakes and red cards, but soon became a fixture, including the 1: 3 at Real Madrid on the last day of the season 2006/07 scored the interim lead. After four years in Mallorca, Varela signed with the Turkish first division club Kasımpaşa Istanbul in the summer of 2010 .

There he made 21 games this season, but still moved to Spanish second division Real Valladolid in the summer of 2011 . His one-year contract there was not extended in the summer of 2012.
