A remote control manipulator is a remotely controlled vehicle . It is used for picking up, examining and transporting dangerous objects. In particular, it is used by bomb defusers and USBV defusers when investigating objects that are suspected of being explosive. These vehicles are very manoeuvrable and can negotiate steep sections, often stairs. They can be equipped with a camera, X-ray machine , gripper arm, electromagnet and high-pressure water rifle (for the destruction of unconventional explosive devices). In addition, they can carry analysis devices with them that enable a statement to be made as to whether there is explosives at a location.
