The Çamlıca television tower is a 166 meter high transmission tower for VHF and TV built from March 1972 to July 1976 in Istanbul 's Çamlıca district . The television tower is used for the TV station TRT . The concrete shaft is 148 meters high, with a metal antenna bracket continuing the construction at its top. To the south of the Çamlıca TV tower there are several transmission towers made of steel framework.
