Fidibus (magazine)

Fidibus is an Austrian magazine for literature and literary studies , including theater studies , which has been published in Klagenfurt since 1972 , of the "Working Group on Literature" of the Carinthian Educational Institute . It was founded by Helmut Scharf, who headed it from 1972 to 1979, followed by Robert Gratzer and Günter Kanzian , who was the overall editor from 1981 to 2011. It has been published by Erika Hornbogner since 2012, head of Drava Verlag since 2016 . The content is literary studies, book reviews and literature by Carinthian authors.

The magazine has published numerous themed issues, such as the 2008 Fest.Schrift for Janko Ferk with contributions by Neva Šlibar , Helmut Eisendle and many others. Like other Carinthian magazines, Fidibus also publishes texts by Carinthian Slovenian authors in the Slovenian language.

The latest issues are dedicated to Georg Timber Trattnig, Egyd Gstättner, Alexander Widner and the 2013 Klagenfurt Literature Course.
