The Field Spaniel is a British dog breed recognized by the FCI (No. 123, Gr. 8, Sec. 2) .

The field spaniel dog breed was originally developed from the cocker spaniel ; it grows up to 45.7 cm and weighs up to 25 kg. His hair is long, straight, shiny and of a silky texture, black, liver brown or moldy, each of these colors is also available with tan markings. The ears are moderately long and wide, set low and well feathered. Like the Cocker Spaniel, the Field Spaniel is also used as a browsing dog and companion dog.
