Fihalhohi , also known as Fihaa Lhohi , is an island in the Maldives on the southwestern edge of the South Malé Atoll .

The once uninhabited tourist island is 400 meters long and 260 meters wide, and around 39 kilometers from the Maldivian capital Malé . There are numerous diving areas nearby, most of which can be reached in less than an hour by boat.

The holiday resort on Fihalhohi opened to tourists in the 1980s.

The climate corresponds to that of the rest of the Maldives and is therefore a tropical climate with always over 25 ° C.
