Breitenstein branch church
The Breitenstein branch church stands on a hillside below the Breitenstein train station in the municipality of Breitenstein in the Neunkirchen district in Lower Austria . The Roman Catholic branch church of the Klamm am Semmering parish church , consecrated to the patronage of Mary's motherhood, belongs to the Deanery Gloggnitz in the vicariate Unter dem Wienerwald of the Archdiocese of Vienna .
history
The branch church was built from 1965 to 1969 according to the plans of the architect Viktor Kraft .
architecture
The church is a simple concrete building under an asymmetrical gable roof. The bell tower is free. The stained glass was created by Carl Geyling's heirs .
Furnishing
Mea Bratusch-Marrein created a crucifixion group and the carved stations of the cross during the construction period.
The three bells were cast by the Grassmayr bell foundry in 1981 .
