Catholic branch church hl. Stephan in Höring

The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Stephan is located in Höring in the municipality of Auerbach in Upper Austria and belongs to the Auerbach parish church in the Mattighofen dean's office in the Linz diocese . It is a listed building .

architecture

The Gothic church building has a single-nave, three-bay, rather wide and low, vaulted, ribbed nave and a slightly drawn-in, somewhat elevated, single-bay choir with a three-eighth end. The Gothic ribs have been removed. The west tower is crowned by an octagonal tower with a pointed helmet. The sacristy has a star rib vault, the sacristy door has Gothic fittings.

Furnishing

The high altar depicting the martyrdom of St. Stephan shows, was built in 1624, the pulpit in 1628, the fron crucifix probably in the 19th century. The 17th century furnishings were created by local Matthias Schreder,
