The Kleingradenegg branch church in the municipality of St. Urban is dedicated to St. Peter . The church belonging to the parish of St. Urban was first mentioned in the 15th century and taken by the Turks in 1476.

description

The church is a possibly early Gothic building with a retracted choir and a straight choir closure. A quatrefoil window has probably been preserved at the end of the choir , the other windows were renewed in the 19th century. The front porch was built in 1879. In the arbor is a polygonal sacrificial table on a column base from the 17th century. On the wall is the door that was broken open by the Turks. In the wooden roof turret hangs a bell from 1400; the top is formed by a weathercock on a double-armed cross and a tower ball.

A barrel vault with stitch caps rises in the nave . The wooden gallery stands on two wooden supports. A Arch with articulated arch over Tuscan Gewändepilastern connects the nave with the increased by three steps chorus, which has a pointed barrel vault. The vault paintings in the nave and choir date from the 19th century. It is believed that there are older wall paintings under the plaster of the nave walls.

The tabernacle altar from the last quarter of the 18th century shows a Madonna in the top picture . On the wall behind it there is a crucifix between two angels. The organ was built between 1700 and 1750. A saint figure from the 16th century, a console figure of St. Paul from the 18th century, a painting of St. Peter from 1851 and a baptismal font from the 16th century are further features of the church.

A bowl stone is built into the churchyard wall.
