Branch church Riedenthal
The Roman Catholic branch church Riedenthal is located in the village of Riedenthal in the Wolkersdorf community in the Weinviertel in the Mistelbach district in Lower Austria . It is consecrated to St. Francis Xavier and belongs to the Wolkersdorf parish in the Wolkersdorf deanery in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

The church is raised at the southern exit of the village of Riedenthal.
history
The church was built in 1773.
architecture
Church exterior
The house of God is a simple late baroque building with a round apse and roof turret over the west facade. The roof turret has a pyramid helmet . The facade is broken up by arched windows. The entrance front is gabled. On the south side there is a low chapel extension.
Church interior
There is a flat ceiling above the church. A segmental, slightly drawn-in triumphal arch separates the nave from the chancel.
Furnishing
St. Francis Xavier is depicted on the altar panel of the high altar. The picture was painted by Franz Barchorner in 1822 .
organ
The organ was made by Josef Panhuber in 1932 .
Peal
One of the two bells was cast by Michel Dobler in 1541 , and another in 1780.
