The Roman Catholic Church of St. Magdalen near Villach is a branch church of the parish of St. Nikolai in Villach. The building is a listed building ( list entry ).

After the church fell victim to a fire in 1762, it was rebuilt in 1800 using the medieval wall core. It consists of a nave with a gable roof and a turret with an onion helmet over the west facade and an open vestibule; to the east a low, semicircular, closed choir and a sacristy to the north .

The interior of the nave and the drawn-in apse have flat ceilings. The western organ gallery is made of wood.

The baroque high altar with columns and acanthus decoration was created at the beginning of the 18th century. The altar panel shows St. Magdalena . On the left side altar with scrollwork and cartilage there is a statue of the Madonna in front of the altar leaf with landscape. The right, Baroque-style Joseph altar dates from the 20th century, the figure of St. Florian from the beginning of the 18th century.
