The Roman Catholic subsidiary church of St. Mauritzen stands on a hill east of Grafendorf in the municipality of Friesach . It is a branch of the Grafendorf parish .

The late-Gothic church is a two-bay building with a five-eighth end and a small, western roof turret . You enter the church from the west through a simple pointed arch portal under a wooden porch. Inside, the pointed barrel vault is emphasized by decorative mesh ridges with stitch caps .

The classical altar is modest. The pulpit was donated in 1781 by Johann Karl Graf von Zinzendorf und Pottendorf, the Commander of the Teutonic Order of Friesach, and given his coat of arms. The church also features a late Gothic figure of St. Mauritius .
