The fingernail spur is a mountain spur in the Lanterman Range of the Bowers Mountains in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises between the index spur in the east and the Kleiner Sledgersgletscher to the west .
Scientists of the German expedition GANOVEX I (1979–1980) made his name.
