The Finsterwalder Glacier is one of several glaciers that flow to the Lallemand Fjord on the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . Its estuary is located between the Haefeli glacier and the Klebelsberg glacier . The three glaciers then end together with the Sharp Glacier at the head of the fjord.
It was first measured between 1946 and 1947 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey . It is named after the German glaciologist Sebastian Finsterwalder (1862–1951) and his son Richard Finsterwalder (1899–1963).
