Fiorella Betti

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fiorella Betti (actually Delia Petti ; born April 18, 1927 in Rome ; † November 2, 2001 there ) was an Italian actress and voice actress .

Betti made her cinema debut under her real name at the age of 13 when she played Capitan Fracassa in Duilio Coletti . However, only six more films followed until 1953, of which she delivered remarkable samples of her skills in Il campione in one of the leading roles and above all as a sensitive girl tyrannized by bandits in Sperduti nel buio in 1947. In 1944 she had appeared in two revues directed by Erminio Macario and had occasionally been hired to work on the radio. With her fresh and bright voice, she then turned to dubbing and was one of the most sought-after speakers for Jean Simmons , Elizabeth Taylor , Natalie Wood and many other actresses, including Italian.
