Fiorenzo di Lorenzo (* around 1440 in Perugia ; † 1522 there ) was an Italian painter . He is assigned to the Umbrian School , a typical painting style of the Italian Renaissance in Perugia of his time .

Life

Fiorenzo had his workshop in Perugia in Umbria , although only two paintings by himself were found there. Fiorenzo's mature style is very similar to Antonio Pollaiuolo's . Many of the works ascribed to Fiorenzo depict Saint Sebastian . His main work is the altarpiece "Madonna and Child with Peter and Paul" (1487). The strong influence of Pietro Perugino can be seen in Fiorenzo's late work .
