First Class (band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

First Class was a British pop group , but it was a pure studio project.

Career

Founder and frontman Tony Burrows (2008)

As so often, the studio singer Tony Burrows recorded a song here and released it under a fantasy name. After Beach Baby moved to the top of the charts in the United States in 1974 (number 4), the band had to be able to be presented to a wide audience, and that was when some well-known musicians came together for television appearances. In the UK it was enough for 13th place, published on Jonathan King's UK label . Producer of Beach Baby was the guitarist John Carter , who had the rights to the group name and related him every now and then.

Tony Burrows also sang the lead vocal in The Ivy League , The Flower Pot Men , White Plains , The Pipkins , Brotherhood of Man and Edison Lighthouse .
