The Five Americans
The Five Americans was an American rock band that was founded in Dallas / Texas in the mid- 1960s and had some success, especially in the USA .
history
After the quintet had played in small clubs and discos for some time, they got a record deal . Their first single, I See The Light , also hit the charts straight away.
Then they changed the company and got Dale Hawkins as the new producer. With him they made the bestseller Western Union .
At the end of 1967 the formation disappeared again.
