The Club Cerro Porteño is a sports club from the Barrio Obrero in Asunción , the capital of Paraguay . The club was founded in 1912 and is historically the most successful team in Paraguayan football with 29 national championship titles alongside its arch-rival Club Olimpia , against which the Superclásico del Fútbol Paraguayo is contested. The basketball team won two championship titles in the early 1960s. The club also operates futsal and handball .
Soccer
Cerro Porteño plays its home games at the club's own Estadio General Pablo Rojas , also known as Olla Azulgrana or La Olla for short. With a capacity of 35,000, it is the second largest in Paraguay after the Estadio Defensores del Chaco . It is named after a former president of the club. During the Copa America 1999 , the game Uruguay against Colombia (0-1) was played here.
