Cayetano Ré Ramírez (born February 7, 1938 in Asunción , Paraguay , † November 26, 2013 in Elche , Spain ) was a Paraguayan football player and coach .

Ré began his career in Asunción, the city of his birth, at Club Cerro Porteño . In 1959 he moved to Spain to FC Elche and after three seasons there he joined FC Barcelona in 1962 , for which he was the top scorer in the Primera División in 1966 and won the trade fair cup . He then played until 1971 for local rivals Espanyol .

From 1958 to 1959 he played 25 times, including at the 1958 World Cup , for the Paraguayan national team , with whom he also had his greatest success in his coaching career in 1986, when he led Paraguay to the round of 16 at the 1986 World Cup .
