The Primera División 1929 was the first season of the top Spanish league in football . It started on February 10, 1929 and ended on June 23, 1929.

Before the season

In 1926, professional football was introduced in Spain. In 1929 a unified national league, the Primera División , was founded, in which ten clubs played the first league title.
