Enrique Porta Guíu (born December 17, 1944 ) is a former Spanish football player .

Career

Enrique Porta played through the Real Zaragoza youth teams . In 1967 he left the club and signed his first professional contract with the then third division club SD Huesca . Porta scored 34 goals in its first season and attracted the interest of numerous clubs. In 1968 he moved consistently in the Primera División for FC Granada .

At his new club, the attacker played only five games in the 1968/69 season - as a defender. In the following season he played no role in coach Néstor Rossi's concept and was even forced to play for the club's youth team at times at the age of 26. For the 1970/71 season he returned as a supplementary player in the professional squad. The long-awaited breakthrough came in the 1971/72 season , when Porta finally played his way into the team and promptly secured the title of top scorer with 20 goals .

Although his performance attracted the interest of many large clubs, Porta remained loyal to Granada CF until 1975. He then played for Real Saragossa in Aragon for two years before retiring.
