Ricardo Alós Bailach (born October 11, 1931 in Moncada ), also known as Ricardo , is a former Spanish football player .

Career

Ricardo began his career in 1951 with CD Mestalla , the reserve team of Valencia CF , in the Segunda División . In 1956 he moved to Asturias for Sporting Gijón . Here he was the top scorer of the Segunda División with 46 goals and helped his team to rise.

Courted by some first division clubs, Ricardo moved to Valencia CF before the 1957/58 season . Here the Spaniard immediately fought for a regular place and was again top scorer with 19 goals - alongside Alfredo Di Stéfano and Manuel Badenes . In the following two seasons Ricardo only played twelve games. In 1960 he therefore moved to Real Murcia in the Segunda División.

With Murcia in 1963 he managed another promotion to the Primera División . However, instead of competing again with the best players in Spain, Ricardo left the club after the season and ended his career at Ontinyent CF in the Segunda División.
