The Flensburg Journal is a German-language monthly magazine from and about the city of Flensburg , which is published by the Sünderup publishing house Horst Dieter Adler with a circulation of around 48,000 copies .

The magazine , first published in the winter of 2000/2001, was published every two months for the first three years with a length of around 48 pages, after which it was published on a monthly basis from May 2004. The articles in the city ​​magazine, which now has more than 100 pages, deal with personalities, companies, institutions, clubs and associations from the region. An appointment calendar announces all kinds of events.

The free magazine, financed by advertising, was initially distributed free of charge to households only in the city of Flensburg, but today the delivery area extends to the neighboring communities of Flensburg ( Harrislee , Handewitt including Jarplund-Weding , Wees and Glücksburg ) to Wanderup in the south. The subscribers include Butenflensburg burgers from all over Germany.
