Marie-Fleur (Fleur) Agema (born September 16, 1976 in Purmerend , North Holland ) is a Dutch politician . She is close to the right-wing populist Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV).

Life

After studying architecture , she worked for an architecture office from 1999 to 2003 , where she created drafts and worked as a project manager. She joined the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF) in 2002 and moved to the provincial states of North Holland as a member of parliament . After she left the LPF in 2004 due to internal disputes, she remained non-party in the states.

In 2006 she made contact with Geert Wilders , who sees the PVV he founded as the successor party to the LPF and personally nominated Agema for second place on the list in the election to the Second Chamber of the States General . Since November 30, 2006 she has been a member of parliament for the PVV. There she deals with public health , sport, youth, families and subsidies .

In December 2012, Agema announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis . Their daughter was born in February 2015.
