Florence Tinguely Mattli

Florence Tinguely Mattli is a Swiss diplomat . She has been Switzerland's ambassador to Denmark since December 2018 . With her husband Arthur Mattli , who as a diplomat in China , India and Kenya was working, she previously shared several places in job sharing .

Career

Tinguely Mattli graduated with a degree in economics (lic. Ès sc. Écon.).

Tinguely Mattli was the first employee of the Swiss Ambassador in New Delhi until 2011 . She took up this position, as well as the following, together with her husband Arthur Mattli in job sharing. In August 2011, she was appointed head of the Europe, Central Asia, Council of Europe, OSCE (AEZEO) department in the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA) . The Federal Council awarded her the title of “Ambassador” for performing this function .

On November 13, 2013, Tinguely Mattli was appointed ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein based in Bern . The following year, on December 17, 2014, she was appointed Ambassador and Head of Mission to the United Republic of Tanzania and moved to Dar es Salaam .

Four years later, on December 14, 2018, Florence Tinguely Mattli was accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Denmark, and she took up her post in September 2019. The Swiss embassy is based in Hellerup , in the greater Copenhagen area .
