Florencia Bécquer , actually Erna Florencia Becker (born June 9, 1910 in Buenos Aires , † after 1948) was a Spanish actress .

Life

Bécquer (the Spanish form of the name Becker) was the daughter of a German and an Andalusian; her father died while on a trip to Europe when they were surprised by the outbreak of the First World War. In 1925, the brown-haired and blue-eyed Bécquer made her film debut in Spain, where she had been since 1919, where she made her career as a vamp during the silent film era and until shortly afterwards . However, it could not save this status long into the sound film era; her roles became smaller and she later moved to Mexico.
