Florian Hecht (born May 30, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Florian Hecht is the son of the German national volleyball player René Hecht . He started his volleyball career in 2004 at Berlin TSC and later moved to SCC Berlin , with which he became German U18 champion in 2009. From 2011 the middle blocker played with VC Olympia Berlin in the second Bundesliga and was appointed to the junior national team. In the same year, Hecht also had a short stint at the Berlin Recycling Volleys in the first Bundesliga due to a double play right . In 2013 he was completely committed to the BR Volleys. With the Berliners he became German champions in the 2013/14 Bundesliga season . He also reached the final in the DVV Cup . After the season, Hecht moved to Bundesliga competitor Cloud & Heat Volley Dresden and, after its bankruptcy, to Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen , where he was active until 2016.
