Florian Holzer (* 1966 in Mistelbach an der Zaya , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian gastronomy critic .
He works as a freelance author and columnist for Austrian and international publications such as the Viennese city magazine Falter , the restaurant guide Wien, wie es eats , the gourmet magazine À la Carte , the Saturday supplement of the daily newspaper Kurier , the online portal wien. ORF.at and for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung am Sonntag, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Berliner Zeitung . Florian Holzer is editor-in-chief of the magazine Der Sommelier and responsible for the wine guide for Gault Millau Austria.
