Florian Janoscha Kreppner

Florian Janoscha Kreppner is a German archaeologist from the Near East .

Life

He studied Near Eastern Archeology, Ancient Near Eastern Philology and Classical Archeology at the Free University of Berlin , where he graduated with a very good master's degree in 1997 , received his doctorate summa cum laude in 2003 and, after completing his habilitation in 2013 , was awarded the license to teach. From 1997 to 2013 he was involved in the DFG research project Excavation in Tall Schech Hamad / Dur-Katlimmu of the Free University of Berlin.

In 2007 he taught as an Erasmus lecturer at Ege Üniversitesi in Izmir , 2007–2016 at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen , since 2013 at the Free University of Berlin (originally as a private lecturer ; 2016–2017 on behalf of Dominik Bonatz ) and in 2015 of the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (substitute for Peter Pfälzner ).

Since August 2015 he has been a research assistant at the Karen Radner chair . In 2018 he was appointed University Professor for Near Eastern Archeology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster .
