Veronika Mickel-Göttfert (born May 18, 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian lawyer , politician ( ÖVP ) and district chairwoman in the 8th district of Josefstadt in Vienna .
Life
Mickel-Göttfert attended the Realgymnasium Schottenbastei in the 1st district of Vienna Inner City . From 1996 to 2001 she studied law in Vienna and Friborg . She is a member of the Christian student association Arcadia Vienna in the VCS .
politics
In 2001 she became a member of the European Parliament and later a member of the Austrian National Council . From 2007 to 2010 she worked as a consultant for Josef Pröll in the Ministry of Environment and Finance. In 2010 she was elected as district leader for the 8th Viennese district of Josefstadt.
