Florian Prägant (born December 19, 1983 in Bad Kleinkirchheim , Carinthia ) is an Austrian professional golfer .
Prägant is a graduate of GOLF-HAK Stegersbach , a commercial academy with a focus on golf and sports management, which he completed in 2003 with the diploma and matriculation exams.
At the end of 2005 he became a professional golfer and played the Alps Tour and in 2007 - on invitation basis - also some tournaments on the Challenge Tour . In November 2007 Prägant finished fourth at the Tour School Final over six rounds in the Spanish San Roque Club and thus qualified for the European Tour of the 2008 season. He could not assert himself and has been playing on the Challenge Tour since 2009.
