Florian Sump (born June 26, 1981 in Flensburg ) is a German musician .

Life

During his school days at the Kurt Tucholsky School in Flensburg, he founded a band with Kai Fischer in 1991, in which he played as a drummer. Later, Kim Frank , Andreas Puffpaff and Gunnar Astrup added. Under the name Echt , they were able to establish themselves in the German charts between 1998 and 2002.

After the band broke up, he worked odd jobs as a sausage seller, video store, removal worker and cleaner. Since 2008 he has been working as an educator in a Hamburg daycare center. Under the pseudonym Jim Pansen he worked on musical solo projects.

Together with Markus Pauli and Lukas Nimscheck , he founded the band Deine Freunde in 2012 .

2020 Sump was in the eighth season together with bandmate Luke Nimscheck one of four coaches of Sat.1 telecast The Voice Kids .

Private

Florian Sump lives in Hamburg.
