Your friends is a German music group that plays music for children .

history

Florian Sump , the former drummer of the pop group Echt and a hip-hop singer who works as a soloist under the pseudonym Jim Pansen , works as an educator in a Hamburg daycare center . To record a song for the facility, in 2010 he went to the studio of the music producer and live DJ from Fettes Brot , Markus Pauli . Together with the later Tigerenten Club presenter and theater production manager Lukas Nimscheck , they recorded the song “ Schokolade” , which received a positive response from the children and parents of the day-care center.

Based on the children's song writer Rolf Zuckowski , they wanted to call themselves Rolf Zuckopfnicks first and asked Zuckowski for permission, but rejected the idea again in favor of your friends . Zuckowski then supported your friends by calling the label again !! founded. In 2012 the first album Ausm Häuschen was released by Universal Music .

In 2014 they were awarded the HANS - Der Hamburger Musikpreis in the category Outstanding Hamburg Artist Development.

In 2020 the band was represented by band members Florian Sump and Lukas Nimscheck as coach in the 8th season of The Voice Kids .
