Florian Wenz (* 1958 in Munich ) is a German net artist .

life and work

Florian Wenz studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich . Wenz moves in the border area between art and research. He organizes exhibitions and realizes installations with new media .

Florian Wenz realized the internet project A Description of the Equator and Some ØtherLands together with Felix Stephan Huber , Philip Pocock and Udo Noll . ØtherLands was shown at the 1997 documenta X in Kassel.

Installation and web project at the same time is H | u | m | b | o | t (in collaboration with Daniel Burckhardt, Roberto Cabot, Jürgen Enge, Gruppo A12, Udo Noll, Philip Pocock, Wolfgang Staehle , Birgit Wiens and Øthers). H | u | m | b | o | t has been included in the collection of the Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe.
