Flotøya is an island in the Nordfjord in the municipality of Stad in the Norwegian province of Vestland .

The uninhabited, forested island is about 100 meters south of the north bank of the fjord and is in front of Bryggja . A little further west are the islands of Kisteholmen and Storøya .

Flotøya extends in a west-east direction over about 600 meters with a width of up to 140 meters and reaches a height of 18 meters at its highest point.
